Oh SH!T my buddy just bought a YFZ450

My buddy had a go on my TRX250R a couple of weeks ago and needless to say he was impressed and decided he wanted a quad. He sold his road bike and bought an 05 YZF450.

Im a bit concerned hes gonna smoke me now.

his bike is pretty stock with maybe a pipe and jetting at most.

Mine is an 87 with wide arms and axles
FMF pipe and Paul Turner fat boy 2 silencer
sealed airbox with snorkle and K&N type filter


Both bikes are on fresh rebuilds and i weigh about 50lbs more than him

he is probably a slightly better rider than me

Am i gonna get smoked on the dunes mx and trail?

I have had road bikes for a few years and currently ride a Kawasaki ZZR1400. I also have a 96 RM250 i bought for blasting round a local MX track (blast might be over selling it as im not the fastest offroad)

I bought my son a Kazuma meerkat a couple of months back and he loves it so I thought about getting myself one so we could go round the junior part of the track together. I was going to buy a cheap chinese quad but the more i think about it I think i should get something with a bit of oomph so I can go round the big track when the fancy takes me as I think i might be faster and have more fun on a quad than on my RM.
