Hey guys, I am new to this forum. my name is Nigel Malone and I live in Alberta, Canada. I have 2 86 250R's, I bought my first (white) one about 3 years ago and just got the 2nd (red) one last christmas. right now they are both torn apart, the white one seized a crank bearing and the red one which I had bought blown up has a seized counterbalance bearing. both engines have damaged cases but I think I can make one good engine out of 2 to at least get one quad going. the mods lists so far are as follows
White 86: Bought 100% stock -new top end -FMF fatty pipe/Bills silencer -K&N filter -Hinson clutch -200W stator -Cool head -400EX front shocks (IMG:http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j318/torquemonsters/IMG_0841.jpg) (IMG:http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j318/torquemonsters/IMG_0840.jpg) Red 86: bought with aftermarket goodies -Big bore kit (not sure what size yet, I think its a 290) -LRD pipe/silencer -ELKA shocks front/rear -high-rise handle bars -stainless brake lines -6-pack rack -carbon fibre clutch/brake levers and boxes upon boxes of spare parts!!! I bought the red 86 and everything included for $500!!!! but sorry no picture of this one |
