oem fenders had a good run

well just got home from the hospital, bruised ribs and spleen, concusion, dislocated shoulder, didnt feel any of it for about 2 hours when i calmed down. so there i am doing some drag racing and out of nowhere a 19 year old kid shoots across the drag strip, i didnt see him till he was right in front of me, he locked up his brakes in my path and i hit him, i was pinned in 5th, locked my brakes for a few feet and next thing i know im waking up on my back, didnt get completly knocked out but i was seeing little birdies. my front bumper is completly crushed in, rear bumper ripped off, rear frame tweeked, all the mounts for my oem fenders ripped off along with a few holes and gauges all over them, damaged ball joint on a arms, bent rim and flat tire,... he of course was fine and the only damage to his banshee was his flag broke. and to top it off someone stole my credit card number friday and racked up a few grand on my account. i shoulda just stayed in bed. fuckin a..

rebuild, not part out

like everyone has said, these ebayers parting out r's sucks. i like to find old hondas on the side of the road and fix them up and sell them and make a little money, and keep them going,.. just food for thought.. just bought a 85 200x for 100$$, spent maybe 10 hours breaking the breaks free, cleaning and jetting carb, scrubbing some old faded plastics, buffing a tank, and so on, one good weekend and i turned a peice of crap that was stuck in the ground in some guys yard into a pretty nice original bike, sold it for 850 on craigslist the first day.. i almost couldnt sell it, it was nice after a little tlc, all i put into it was a set of rear tires in the back of my garage. bought my daughter a very nice little 50. they are worth money together, not only in peices! i have bought and sold 6 atc and trx bikes this year, made money every time. keep them going, lots of people still love them.

service honda

i was just on service honda website, i have heard many people talk about it. what exactly is it, they were selling a 400ex with a cr250 engine on there, a new 2010 model. am i just out of the loop or is this bullshit?? just curious because i have heard alot of people say they have have gotten hard to get parts from them. is this actually a honda affiliate or what????
