    whoever said you had to be wide open? I ride all the time with people at slow to cruising speeds... never had an issue, actually i enjoy it. i even ride 2 up every once and a while with girls brave enough... i'm able to tame the beast just fine as to not scare my passenger a (not all the time anyhow)
