Thanks Tony, the Nesting looks good...!

When we get the Billet sets from Tony, we still need to drill & tap holes in two places, and Polish out...then clean & assemble.

Carlos, Will your eliminator kit fit a TMX carb? I don't like the fitment of my ESR kit.

The brackets Carlos sent me a DXF for are complete and will be sent to BDT tommorrow. These have alot more work done to them after they leave here.

After studying these brackets for a while, and looking at the pics on the BDT website, I can't help but wonder how they would work if the brackets were of thicker material. That would allow one side of the bracket to be tapped, and not require the through-bolts with locknuts and washers BDT uses in the original pics. I measured the filter on my ESR kit (either identical or very similar to this one, other than tube length) and the filter's rubber mounting flange would allow for a maximum bracket thickness of up to one inch.

Does the "tube" of the BDT kit have an internal venturi shape or tapered/graduated inside diameter, or is it straight 2.5" aluminum tubing like the ESR kit?

These brackets do NOT have a through hole, one side is threaded, the lock nut is a safety feature, and not a must have, just a nice to have. We make two versions, one uses the standard K&N airfilter and 2.5" Aluminum Tube, just with a different ID (Thinner tubing and considerably longer to allow a tuned length. The other version is a machined Aluminum Tube that goes from 2.5" to 3" OD and uses a larger K&N airfilter.

To keep cost down, we are marketing-selling the constant diameter 2.5" Aluminum Tube BDTM Eliminator Kit...this kit incldes the Billet Bell Shaped intake adapter +2 o-rings, the 2.5" Aluminum Long intake tube, a real K&N airfilter (not the Chinese made copies) and the Billet frame to Filter bracket. Plus this allows the use of the BDTM frame to Filter Billet bracket to be used with the ESR eliminator kit as well.

I like parts to fit perfect, and don't recommend this BDTM Eliminator kit for the TMX carb...the fit is slightly off. We will market a version for the TMX soon, after Tony gets some time to play with his toys a bit...
