ok, so, the spark isnt happening 24/7, it will spark about 5 out of 15 times

pull spark plug boot off look at the wire in center to see if it has green crosion on it if so cut of a little bit screw boot back on . have u pulled the stator cover to see if its full of water or oil ? check screws for goood ground there is another ground up by the tank . hope this helps
Double check your stator if your still having the problem, when i got my R a screw had backed out of the stator and started sheering off the wires giving me a spark issue.
