    Converting a hybrid frame

    What would it take to convert a hybrid frame back to a 250r frame? Is it that involved or is it just the motor mounts? Not sure what other modifications would have been done to make room for a big 4 stroke. Just wondering if it would even be worth considering.


    1986 TRX310R

    ESR 310 xc ported running C12 at 210 psi
    ESR Trx-5 / 38mm Mikun i/ V-force 3 / Hiper Tech-3's
    PEP Shocks / Burgard +2 arms and +2 stem
    Lonestar swinger / WestCoast hubs / CCP stabilizer
    Full skids / Fat bars / NAC's shrouds
    Motorsports nerfs / AC front bumper
    Precision shock and Vibe / Pro-fab footpegs
    RAD Axle nut / etc. etc.

    That's actually what i have bought it cause it was fully guaseted I have to weld the
    2, little mounts on the bottom cross bars and get rid of the extra ones they added everthing else is the same

    Depends which motor it was made for. It could be a little tricky, but if you have a good fabricator it could be done. I just completed a Laeger conversion and I needed to make
    a headstay mount as well as headstay because the stock one didn't fit, as well as new front motor mounts because the OEM wouldn't work. The lower frame rail had to be
    made and the chain aligned since it was offset for the lower motor.

    Hmmm. food for thought I guess. Seems like if you can get one for the right price, it might be worth it.

    250Renvy, was it a yz hybrid you converted?
