I wondered about having it reinforced. I think one of the guys my husband works with is going to fix it. He's a certified welder and used to own a fabrication shop with his Dad.

I think it cracked where it did because my husband got hit fairly hard from behind in the team race that we rode in. I've checked everything from the top side and it doesn't look like anything else is cracked. I'm going to have to get a better look at the under side and double check the lower motor mounts. One of the lower ones has been cracked sometime in the past because it was welded when I bought it.
