A few months ago I started to regret selling my near mint 88 TRX250R 6 or 7 years ago. I haven't owned a quad or dirt bike since. I have been riding since I was around 5 when I got my first 2 stroke a KX60, I have since owned a Mojave 110, LT230, 91 YZ80, 94 YZ 125, 97 YZ 125, 87 LT250R, 00 Banshee, 04 YFZ450 and a 88 TRX250R. I raced 125's for about 4 years and raced my Banshee for 2. I bought a new YFZ450 right when they came out to give the new 4 strokes a try, I hated it, so I went and found a real nice 88 TRX250R. Unfortunately I sold it like an idiot. Recently I thought it would be fun to get a "project" quad that I could restore. Here's my TRX250R build.

Here are some pics of the shit box I started with.

Got the frame sandblasted and powdercoated. Sweet deal $175 for both! And he ground off the cob job exhaust flange that was welded on the frame.
