newbie, building an 86

Sameltoe here saying "hay" and thanks for the great site and some good people also!
Newbie to the site and the 250's...but not atv's (some may know me from the org or atvriders)

It all started after searching local cl adds and papers and only finding junk....than, 3 frames show up for 50 bucks... figured might as well build one the way I want it 2 86 frames and 1 junk 88 and a box of parts, So here I am! lol

Havn't done much, but collect parts and research...
The plans are houser lt a-arms, stem and 88/89 style swinger. Thanks to troybilt!
Already got axis shocks front and rear
Ims tank and footpegs
04/05 hubs/spindles, front and rear brakes

...And no clue on the motor yet lol I have a 87? bottom end with a ck103 crank, Think I'm going to send it out to Neil as soon as the roller is done....
Only delema is...I need a complete motor so I can weld some mounts for the swinger change and finish the gusset kit...

And $50 for a gusset kit now your at $100. It just starts adding up. If you need a top end to bolt the motor in for mounts I can send one your way.

I got a whole lot of stock cylinders. If you want a junk one or a near new one to use its up to you.

Yep I know it starts adding up. Iv'e built one.... 50 for three frames and boxes of parts is a good deal imo..

Little update, I bought an arens frame from the another site

Just a heads up Sam ,the gusset kit won't fit aftermarket frames. I am a big fan of aftermarket frames but don't have one. Looks like your gonna have an awesome build.
