maybe it was just us but my brother tried to order me radiator shrouds from feathercarbon.com and after 2 months and horrible customer service he jsut gave up
so off of our experience i wouldnt go through them at least for the shrouds

Ok here is the night after i got my trx...Some might say it didnt look so bad but it was a pile. The front end was shot.Had an awful amount of slack, whole bike wasnt greased regularly and the counterbalancer was off time so it rattled your teeth out when running...The head pipe wasnt even on the exhaust flange...just to show you the intelligence level of this guy...He told me he wasnt sure where the exhaust was leaking from..it was at night when i got it and i wanted to make sure it ran...i couldnt see shit really....i was/am so glad that i finally got one...

more... I had to get a new frame cause the vibrating motor broke EVERY motor mount and where it mounted on the frame, not to mention the frame was cracking in 3 different spots under the engine. So i went with an 87 model frame,One reason was so i could run ESR's billet motor mounts which i already i have...i will be ordering a polished bolt kit off ebay soon so the bike will be practically new....

I hope you guys enjoy the pics of my project....

It is great seeing another 250r restored. I really like the 87 frame. Looks real good. Did you fix the vibration problem? You do know that you can repolish the durablue axle and make it look brand spankin new.

thanks Pumashine....I bought a manual and learned how to put the crank and counterbalancer back in sync....It was alot easier than i imagined....I never knew that i could polish that axle....I was planning on buying an Axcaliber axle, but i may consider keeping the durablue now...i might be wrong but i thought my axle was steel...it looks like rust spots have formed, unless its a tarnish effect...thanks
