Hi guys! I've been here for almost a year now, soaking up all the information I can so that I can build a bike that I'll be happy with.
I'm on a pretty tight budget because I'm 17, so I'm still in high school and I have a job for some nights and weekends to fund my project.
I've wanted a 250r since I was 5, my dad took me to the motocross races to watch his buddy race. Now that I'm old enough to get
things together, it's time I have my own 250r. I bought one that was completely stock besides a DG silencer and plastics. I don't have
any before pictures besides when I stripped it. So here's my progress!

These are the parts I brought to the powdercoat shop. The black ones are my father's mini-bike project parts.
Got everything back from the powdercoater. Frame was looking awesome!!
Threw on an AC grab bar, progress has been somewhat slow.
Bought AC MX style nerfs (I have nightmares about losing my foot behind my pegs)
Put the radiator and aluminum shrouds on. Things are slowly coming together.
Had the rear master cylinder powdercoated and I rebuilt the rest.
Cleaned up the stock airbox, put a K&N filter in it. Re-assembled the main rear-brake setup.
Threw on my PEP long travel ZPS shocks on the front, currently waiting to find a pair of arms for them.
Found a cool Pro-Link decal on Ebay so I bought it and slapped it on the freshly powdercoated stock '88 swingarm.
Put the swinger on. It's slowly starting to look like a 250r
Installed the stock linkage and a stock rear shock that was rebuilt by PEP.
Bought a nice set of Gibson +3 LT Arms. Mounted one side to see how they look, I'll have them powdercoated soon.
Installed standard length Laeger's Stem with Fasst Flexx handlebars and a Gibson Anti-Vibe Clamp!
Installed the Gibson Fat Bar Clamp... It even has a mount for my Pro Design kill switch
Put new bearings in my front hubs and put the rotors on the spindles.
They're the same color as my frame, the light just makes them look orange
