If you use full words and spell check, also read through before you post you will most likely get alot more responses.
Sounds like a good deal to me. Good call on the trx6 pipe and pwk, the midrange port work should be perfect for a xc bike. Your next step should be to concentrate on suspension and skid plates. I would keep your front arms and get some front shocks that are set up for your weight and riding style. Should be fine with your stock swing arm, but would get your rear shock revalved and sprung for your weight and style also. Remember, you can only go as fast as your suspension lets you.

Pull the swingarm bolt out & grease the hell out of it! I had to cut mine out. The bolt has a collar around it(for some reason) & it will seize to the bolt. It works fine, but if you have to replace the swingarm bearings you will have a problem. You only want to do this 1 time. It cost $100 for the bolt & collar, not counting the $3 nut(which doesn't come with the bolt & mine was missing), or bearings & seals.

Seizing of the pivot bolt is very common as well. I used a torch to heat mine up and beat the ever living hell out of it trying to get it to come out. No luck. I had to take it to a shop and we had to use an (air hammer?) or what ever it was called, basically looks like impact wrench with a jack hammer chuck in it. I sat there for over an hour hitting both sides of that bolt. Nothing but rust dust kept falling out and FINALLY it broke loose enough that I could finish beating it out. I had tried keeping the nut some what screwed on but the force I had to use burgered the threads and ruined the bolt.

All I can advise is you expect the worst and hope for the best. Don't procrastinate and try doing this at the last minute. You just might end up having to order a pivot bolt and nut And without fail make sure you grease the ever living hell out of that bolt before you put it back in. I would also recommend putting a drip of blue locktite on that pivot bolt nut . Not one you want to loose out riding.
I would also lift the rear end in the air and try wiggling your axle. Any play up/down or side/side you'll want to rebuild that bearing carrier as well. It's been my personal experience the three most neglected places on these bikes is the pivot bolt, bearing carrier and the swingarm needle bearings. Don't skimp, buy a full rebuild kit - don't reuse ANY of the dust seals.

Make sure the carrier isn't in it backwards.
