I've had 2 different carriers from 2 different companies and one was always a little loose fitting, while the other was borderline to tight fitting. I never had any problems with either one moving though and this is on the 86-87 style swingarm too. If nothing else why not get the allen wrench socket to put into a ratchet for extra torque when tightening it. Is it the stock or aftermarket carrier?

i hate when people have something to say about grammar and spelling ...if it were not for spell check half these idiot cant spell anyways they just mastered the spell check features ... i use my phone for the site so i can care less how i spell or talk... i make sure my prices are right and my paypal info is correct.

I bet your chain is the issue not the carrier loosening up. I replcaed my chain recently because my last chain was toast and kept stretching and loosening.
