New to the forum and to Honda. so i finally switched to honda after 13 years of riding yamaha. Silverlake250r got me onto an R, and so i parted out me shee. bought an 88 with +2 bugard arms(i think, not 100% sure), +4 durablue axle, 39mm pwk, boysen rad valve reed, 86 cylinder with an mx port, some goofy aftermarket pipe with an fmf silencer, steering stabilizer, hot rods crank, works front shocks, pro peg nerfs, mostly stainless bolts, stainless brake lines, full dg alluminum skid plates, a 3.6 gal gas tank and came with a 6 pack rack grab bar. i traded my girlfriends stock blaster i had $1050 into, some paddles i paid $80 for, and $100 cash for this R. so basically paid $1250 for this R. needed a top end, nothing i wasnt used to doing with a banshee.

Then Jamieg45 bought Silverlake250r's walsh chasis, and sold me his 89 frame fully gusseted, literally the day i was about to buy Pumashines gusset kit, already had the welder set up and everything. so now i am selling the red frame, and bought this blue one!
IMAG0142.jpgfully gusseted, powdercoated and all. all welds burnt out and tig welded, mint frame, never broken or anything. its an 89 frame.
then i went and bought $1050 worth of parts from Silverlake250r, including seat cover, full plastics with carbon hood and gas tank cover, carbon rear brake resi cover, full stainless bolt kit, duncan racing front bumper, front brake resi top, blue billet block off plate, and im sure im missing some stuff. and then traded Jamieg45 a banshee case and stator for a new top end and cash. all thats left to do is powdercoat lower arms, engine mounts, hubs, big bars, and swingarm and shes goin back together! cannot wait!
