    Yeah....that one was posted two years ago by FactoryX....LOL

    Did anyone notice it's NOT an '89 Trx 250R ?

    The Frame is an '86 (look at the front motor mounts )

    i wonder if the motor is 85/86 or 87-89... the 86 framed quads were 20 something pounds heavier.

    I noticed that right away when reading it! Dirtwheels even gets it wrong, and they have had a mag since the 80's. I think they called it an 89 because its an 89 motor, or at least appears to be. Technically you would base the year off of what the frame is, but whatever lol

    im going to be posting to youtube a video of my 86' trx250r vs my brothers 08' kfx 450r
    both are piped stock engines and have k&n's so it will be an evan race
    but mine has extended a arms axle and aftermarket shock idk if that will make a difference
    any takers on the winner?
    and does anybody want the link when i post the video?

    +3 a arms - works front shocks- zp rear shock- lsr +3 axle- lsr +2 steering stem - FMF full exhaust - reed spacer exc.

    ESR 350 cylinder with BDT cases in the works

    Or they went by the front shroud....which is an '88-'89 style....'86-'87 had the tubular steel headlight housing and a smooth, flat front shroud.
