I bought my R with 450 shocks and +2 arms. With the others I can confirm that it raises the front end too much. With the spring tension on the lowest setting the ride is not too stiff--I weigh 215 lbs. In the long run it is not a good setup. I've got my Roll Design A-arms and am saving up for some Custom Axis shocks.

About the 400 EX shocks, I believe the R in the recent Dirt Wheels comparison had them. See the article on this website.

I just picked up a 250r today and has 450 shocks on it. Way too stiff even backed all the way out on the tension ring.
How can I tell what A arms are on the bike? Sorry for the dumb question.
