Who's getting ready for the riding season?!

What are you needing to do or what are you currently in the process of doing to your bike/s?
For me - in the last two months I’ve purchased:

    LED Sphynx 350 cylinder
LED custom tuned big bore pipe
CR250 ignition – in the process of going on the dyno
Slingshot lockout clutch - while installing I found the next two items bad
    New inner hub basket
    New kicker ratchet gear
    CBR cross flow radiator
    Magura hydro clutch
    New front and rear sprockets

    Replaced Pro Design tether switch
LSR +2 steering stem with anti vibe
    LSR rear hubs
    LSR bearing carrier
    LSR anti fade nut
    Precision steering dampner
ESR billet brake lever, kicker, motor mounts, ignition cover
    BDT ESR brake cover cap
Fourwerx vented carbon hood ß those suck ass to install on Maier plastics but they look cool J
Hiper Tech3 dual bead lock wheels
Skat Trak Hauler Extremes (going larger due to motor upgrade)
    New OEM seat pan grommets
    New Grips

And then a few custom things I’ve done:
Custom electrical clamps mounted to bottom sides of shrouds to secure the brake lines and keep them away from the steering stem and dampner. This came from a buddy of mine and it’s a wonderful idea for those with long travel front ends.
OMF radiator protector piece had to be cut to allow dampner arm clearance
Front nose clip altered to come off with the two 12mm bracket bolts and loosening the strap (no more screw driver!)

    Quick fix item:
Rear caliper needed some love on the bolts that allow it to slide side to side (they were pretty well rusted up)

Left to do – get tires mounted on wheels
Purchase billet steering clamp and delrin bushings
Purchase billet rear master cylinder and hanger
Buy 4 new tires for my toy hauler
    AND most importantly GO RIDE!

I'm just waiting on warmer weather. Just a few upgrades I'm doing...sending my shocks to Jet Suspension to get resprung and revalved, aluminum radiator, new clutch, new tires, and maybe the cr ignition. Still on the fence about that one.

I thought I had the pilot powered build ready to ride but had to put on another head and replace the hydro clutch I got from Troybuilt. Time for "break in" If you have not run your cylinder yet you might want to get that thing on there and then find the rest of your problems.

    Just waiting for sunshine hear!!!!!!!
I see stuff that does not exist

I want to make my R basically a duner. Its going to be gradual update as I can't really afford to do everything at once. So far this year I got +2 arms and frt shocks. Things i want to do but don't know which will be next. In no order, new/newer fenders, 310 or a nicely ported stock cylinder, carb, pipe, wheels and tires, narrower rear end (at 51" now) . Right now I think am going to try and sell a bunch of parts from a Tecate4 to help fund some of what I need.

Well I bought a new set of paddles for the back and a new muffler so I can get into silverlake without any problems. Right now my R runs great and doesn't really "need" anything else although if I can find extra money here and there I'm sure I can come up with things to do. I'm not sure yet if I want to turn it into a duner or not; I haven't had it very long and this is my first toy ever so I plan on taking it to silver lake as well as taking it on some trails and figuring out which one I would prefer doing more!
If only I had millions of dollars....

ive had my R for a month now, it came with nice stock travel extended a arms, axle, houser anti vibe stem, pro peg nerfs, asv levers, power mads, steel braded lines, vforce/spacer, and billet odds and ends. In the last month I bought a esr 295 top end kit with their fantastic porting lol. I also bought a LRD system and a TMX carb but I decided to get a 39 pwk which I have now. All I need is new chain and sprockets and I'm good. I'm also building my cousins that I already posted before pics of. For under 1100 he will have new crank bearings/seals, came with fresh top end, Hinson basket, 38mm TMX, ported, rad valve, new fatty system, steel braided lines, and mint plastics/seat. I'll have them both ready before it gets nice and the bug kicks in heavily.

To all the people who aren't sure if you want to go full duner all I can say is if you want a multi purpose bike stay away from going +4 wide. I can personally still trail ride but it's just nerve racking - totally not worth it.
Going long I'm a big fan of especially for helping keeping the front tires down on a more built motor. I love my +4 extra length but I do next to zero trail riding and that long ass end sure makes it a tad rough. BUT if I had a basic stocker motor going long isn't worth it either. My .02 anyway.

And Pumashine - Amen to that. I'm itching to get out there this year. Just hope the wind Gods have been kind enough to bless us with some excellent jumps at the coast. Last few years the dunes have been fairly rolled over and not much fun for jumping anyway. Best part of last season was riding St Anthony dunes in Idaho. Those dunes are sooooo much better than Oregon. Really spoiled me and my family. We kind of hate Oregon dunes now

It's very nice to see who's buying and doing what to their bikes. Keep them stories a flowin!

I picked up a used set of ohlins shocks , put em on the quad , feel pretty blown out .So there comen off and gettin sent to ohlins when tax check comes. Ohlins ($350) cost to rebuild aint all that bad but ill prob just them revalved and resprung while there. finally will have a fully set up offroad machine for me.
Since they took all of my budget i guess all else i can get is a set of front tires. Really hope I can get my susp woes worked out this year then i can work on the looks dept.
    Nasty as I wanna be.
