    Bad Esr clutch cover casting

I recently bought one of there quick changed covers, i put in on my engin everything was fine leaks or what not, did the heat cycles on my new cylinder, went to load my bike in the pick up and noticed i had oil leaking all over the ground, i investigated where the leak was coming from and it looked like a crack in the new clutch cover so i brake cleaned it off and and noticed a small hole i took a very small screw driver and touched the area of the hole and made a crack about 2" long and 1/8 wide its back near the kick starter area, just wondering if anyone has had this same problem or how to go about fixing it. Thanks

Well as with any company there are going to be some kinks to work out with new products. Also make sure that you dont tighten them down too much or unevenly. Aluminum can crack easily when stressed.

Hope ESR has better quality control on their center cases... that doesn't look like user error to me.

Definitly looks like a bad casting to me. I would hope ESR takes care of you on it.
