ESR310 jetting

I just bought a brand new esr 310 kit with trx9 porting, and pump gas dome. Im going to use my stock carb for now, and a fmf fatty pipe. I was wondering where to start on jetting, my elevation is 1400 above sea level if that helps. Also its a short rod motor. Thanks

I would ask ESR to get the jetting they want you to use, however; when we set up a 310 we start with 52 Pilot, +188 Main, DGH Needle 3rd clip from top, 2 turns out on the airscrew, 2 1/2 turns out on the Slide stop screw (black plastic)...this will be safe and on the RICH side.

After 2 tanks of fuel, perform Plug Chops and jet down or up as needed.

Do u mean 2 1/2 out on the choke/idle screw thing ?

No, the slide stop screw is the Black plastic one with the spring behind it. 2 1/2 turns out should open the slide enough to idle.

Mine is a stock pj they dont have a idle screw. ESR said 175 main, and 60 pilot , should i start richer on the main.

I would go bigger on the Main like 188...the Pilot however sounds big, I would go with a 52/55 jet on the Pilot. Then perform Plug Chops and lean down if needed.
