Question Thinking about sending my motor to a builder... Whos the best for the price?

So iv been talking to a few local shops (miami, fl) and everyone swears they are the best... But after hearing about the poor service and quality of work they do... I'm thinking maybe its better for me to send my motor to someone reputable. Who do you guys recommend? keep in mind I'm trying not to spend anymore than I have too, my baby girl is due in 6 days. I'f possible id like to keep the appearance of the motor as stock as possible from the outside and still be able to stomp on the occasional local banshee with bolt ons that's talking smack about his bike. Is this possible? Willing to go stroker, if I can keep some kind of reliability... I don't rag on my bike but want to know its got the cojones if needed.

Ship it to Carlos at BDTM Bad Dog Toys Tell them your budget and see what they can put together for you. They have complete BAD ASS motors ready to drop in for a reasonable price. And they really know 250r's.

I agree with infernojoe. I have heard nothing but good things about BDT Motorsports, and Carlos has helped me many times. They have great customer service and some of the best looking 250R's I have ever seen.

Or if you want to go more local check out Neil from North Carolina I believe, he's one of the site sponsors and a 250r godfather. I think everyone on here will vouch for Carlos and Neil both, you really can't go wrong either way.

I'll confirm that... Both carlos and neil know their stuff... I actually just sent my cylinder to carlos to get it ported. Hopefully be seeing it finished in a few weeks.

KSRRider built an 88 sleeper on a stock cylinder and sent it to Carlos to do his magic... Had only good things to say about it.

Another good builder is Arlan Lehman previously of LRD and now LED performance... Been around 250r's since the beginning.
