    [attachment=3765:Picture_2415.jpg]Hi, I built my 85 atc 250r up about 10 years ago. I was new to the 250r game and didnt know a whole lot. Now I am going to rebuild it the way it should be and now that I know what I can do I am excited. This will mainly be just a dune runner but I will also be doing Drag racing and hill climbing with it. Here is the plan so far

    New upgrades:

    Chromely Frame with removable rear sub-frame for easy replacement
    431 puma motor built with a hinson basket & sling-shot Clutch, Hinson Quick Change Cover
    Modded Honda ignition with lightened flywheel
    44-48mm Lectron Carb
    Modded ESR Inframe pipe and silencer & have a Shearer OOF out of frame pipe for Drag racing and hill climbing
    Inverted front suspension (00' CR125 Forks)

    And Yes its staying Yellow!

    Very excited, stay tuned as I will be updating as I go. planning to be done and ready by next spring. Any suggestions or ideas please feel free to chime in.

    Your running a big engine have you looked into my inframe pipe, it would suit your bike much better.

    I like the plan. Who is doing motor/port work. You gonna have someone build the complete motor or are you doing it all.

    You sure you want to run the slingshot? I heard it could be a pain to adjust?

    I have no experiance with them though, just been reading up and talking to people. trying to decide what i am gonna go with.

    With a direct drive unit, 15 min tops is all it takes to adjust the lockout. And if you go OOF, you want a left exit pipe, doubles as a kickstand too

    NOS 350x- I read about your pipe at 3 wheeler world and you made it sound like its a topend drag pipe all or nothing. So was thinking it wasnt for me as the ESR modded pipe will be all around power and the OOF will be an easy swap and I may have a lead on one for a good price but hey I might change my mind

    sdyme1995- I will most likely have Carlos do most the mods and porting and have my local 250r builder put the motor together or I may have my local guy port it. But not sure because I need to still talk to Carlos. Also on Sling-Shot I have heard nothing but good things about it.

    Jadleybray- any word on that pipe your buddy has?

    I mentioned to matt you were looking for a pipe. Its a great buy what he's asking. You won't find a shearer cheaper
